The E. coli expression system is a fast, cost-effective choice for producing recombinant proteins that don’t require complex modifications. It’s ideal for simpler proteins, as E. coli can efficiently produce large quantities. Recent advancements, such as the co-expression of molecular chaperones and engineered strains that promote disulfide bond formation, have further improved its ability to handle proteins that require a bit more complexity.
For proteins that require proper folding, glycosylation, or other mammalian-specific modifications, our mammalian expression system is the best fit. It delivers high-quality proteins suitable for immunological studies, structural studies, and cell-based applications where native-like conformation is essential.

The protein will be purified without any denaturing steps but we cannot guarantee whether the protein is folded properly within the E. coli system.
