abm's cell culture inserts feature ultrahydrophilic polycarbonate membranes, allowing the cultivation of most cell types without the need for matrix coatings. The high pore density of the polycarbonate membrane facilitates increased exchange across the membrane and provides excellent cell adherence properties. These inserts are ideal for transport studies and other applications requiring optimal cell growth. Polycarbonate membranes are also well-suited for barrier assays, offering superior, sustained, and stable transepithelial resistance (TEER) over extended periods compared to other membranes.
