Keratinocyte Growth Kit (Low Ca²⁺)
| Cat. No. | TM203 |
| Name | Keratinocyte Growth Kit (Low Ca²⁺) |
| Description |
The Keratinocyte Growth Kit (Low Ca²⁺) is a serum-free, optimized medium system designed for the culture of primary human keratinocytes under low calcium conditions. By maintaining reduced calcium levels, the kit supports keratinocyte proliferation while minimizing premature differentiation, making it ideal for studies in epidermal biology, skin regeneration, and keratinocyte signaling. It delivers consistent, reproducible performance for research in dermatology and tissue engineering. The kit is supplied as a basal media and growth supplement mix:
Add the supplied supplement mix to the medium and mix well before use. Supplement addition may alter the medium's appearance, making it look slightly opaque. Complete medium can be stored at 2 - 8 °C for up to two weeks. To avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles, aliquot complete medium into appropriate volumes and freeze at -20 °C for up to three months. Do not re-freeze aliquots once thawed. |

Each lot has been fully tested and optimized for its ability to support in vitro cell culture. The testing parameters include: adherence rate (where applicable), typical morphology, and metabolism of the tested cells. Additionally, the media has been tested for sterility, pH, osmolality and endotoxin levels. |
| Storage Condition | Store basal media at 4-8°C and all supplement mix components at -20°C, unless indicated otherwise. The complete kit is good to use until the listed expiry date on the bottle. Media requiring supplementation expires 30 days post-supplementation. |
