Description

Serum-Free Dermal Papilla Organoid Medium is a fully defined culture system formulated to support the growth, maintenance, and aggregation of human dermal papilla cells into 3D organoids. Serum-free and enriched with essential growth factors and nutrients, this medium promotes robust proliferation and preserves the specialized signaling properties of dermal papilla cells. Ideal for hair follicle research, tissue engineering, and regenerative medicine applications, it enables reproducible organoid formation and functional studies.

The kit is supplied as a basal media and growth supplement mix:

  1. TM601-1 – Basal Medium
  2. TM601-2 – PrOrgan™ DPO Supplement A
  3. TM601-3 – PrOrgan™ DPO Supplement B
  4. TM601-4 – PrOrgan™ DPO Supplement C

Add the supplied supplements to the medium and mix well before use. Supplement addition may alter the medium's appearance, making it look slightly opaque. Complete medium can be stored at 2 - 8 °C for up to two weeks. To avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles, aliquot complete medium into appropriate volumes and freeze at -20 °C for up to three months. Do not re-freeze aliquots once thawed.

Each lot has been fully tested and optimized for its ability to support in vitro cell culture. The testing parameters include: adherence rate (where applicable), typical morphology, and metabolism of the tested cells. Additionally, the media has been tested for sterility, pH, osmolality and endotoxin levels.
