A 83-01
| Cat. No. | G7205 |
| Name | A 83-01 |
| Description |
A 83-01 is a potent and selective inhibitor of ALK4, ALK5, and ALK7, receptors within the TGF-β/Activin/Nodal signaling pathway. By blocking SMAD2/3 phosphorylation, A 83-01 effectively suppresses differentiation signals and promotes the maintenance of pluripotency in human embryonic stem cells (hESCs) and induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs). Widely used in reprogramming and directed differentiation workflows, A 83-01 helps stabilize stem cell cultures, improve colony morphology, and drive efficient lineage specification in combination with other small molecules (e.g., CHIR99021, PD0325901, SB431542). It has also been applied in cancer biology, fibrosis, and regenerative medicine studies to dissect TGF-β–mediated processes. Key Features:
