| Description |
This solution, prepared in Dulbecco’s Phosphate-Buffered Saline (DPBS) without Ca++ or Mg++, contains a blend of proteolytic and collagenolytic enzymes specifically designed for gentle and effective cell detachment. It is ideal for routine dissociation of cells from both standard tissue culture-treated surfaces and adhesion-coated plasticware. Compared to trypsin, Cell Detachment Solution offers a milder detachment process, minimizing cellular damage and preserving surface proteins. As a result, it is commonly used for sensitive cell types such as induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs). |
