Name Recombinant Mouse FLT3 Ligand (FLT3LG)
Description FLT-3 ligand promotes long-term expansion and differentiation of human pro-B cells in the presence of IL-7 or in combination of IL-7 and IL-3. The human flt-3 ligand also stimulates the proliferation of cells expressing murine flt-3 receptors.n combination with SCF and IL-3 flt-3 ligand can cause expansion of cells with the marker spectrum CD34(+) CD38(-). Alone, flt-3 ligand supports the survival of precursors in the lineage of blood-forming cells such as CFU-GM, CFU-GEMM, and the very primitive high proliferative potential colony-forming cells, HPP-CFC. flt-3 ligand only has marginal effects on progenitors for erythroid cells and megakaryocytes.

Formulation Recombinant FLT-3 Ligand was lyophilized from a 0.2 μm filtered solution with 50mM Tris,100mM NaCl, pH 8.5.
Function The ED(50) was determined by the dose-dependent proliferation of human AML5 cells was found to be in the range of 10.0 ng/mL.
Reconstitution A quick spin of the vial followed by reconstitution in distilled water to a concentration not less than 0.1 mg/mL. This solution can then be diluted into other buffers.
Storage The lyophilized protein is stable for at least one year from date of receipt at -70°C. Upon reconstitution, this cytokine can be stored in working aliquots at 2° - 8°C for one month, or at -20°C for six months, with a carrier protein without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
Usage For research use only. Not for diagnostic or therapeutic use.
