Lentiviral vector expressing dCas9 (D10A and H840A) fused to the KRAB (Krüppel-associated box) domain, which represses gene expression by binding to the promoter region and blocking transcription. By using specific sgRNAs, the dCas9-KRAB can be targeted to a promoter region allowing for repression of almost any gene of interest. |
