| Description |
To produce helper-free Adeno-associated virus (AAV) particles, three components are required: 1) an AAV expression vector with your insert, 2) a packaging vector containing adenoviral genes to replace the helper virus, and 3) a packaging vector expressing the Rep and Cap proteins that determine AAV serotype and tropism. All of abm’s AAV expression vectors contain wildtype ITR sequences and can be packaged using one of our pre-mixed serotype-specific packaging mixes. Each kit’s AAV packaging mix is sufficient for producing three viruses at a titer of 109 GC/ml. |
