3,3'-Diaminobenzidine (DAB), is a widely used peroxidase substrate for immunoblotting and immunohistochemical staining techniques. It is commonly used for detection of horseradish peroxidase in membrane-bound and in situ applications, as it produces an intense brown-black stain which is resistant to alcohol and fading. This tablet product is designed for convenient, easy, and safe preparation of peroxidase substrate. |
| Recommended Protocol | Dissolve one tablet in 10 ml deionized water. Use liquid substrate within one hour. Immediately before use, add hydrogen peroxide to 0.1% (v/v). |
