Description |
Fish Sperm DNA (Sodium Salt) is a purified, fragmented genomic DNA commonly used as a blocking agent in molecular biology applications. It is often included in hybridization buffers to prevent non-specific binding of probes to membranes or nucleic acids in Southern blots, Northern blots, microarrays, and in situ hybridization. The sodium salt form ensures solubility and stability in aqueous solutions. |
