Recombinant Human VEGFB (E. coli)
Cat. No. | Z102535 |
Name | Recombinant Human VEGFB (E. coli) |
Description |
Vascular endothelial growth factor B (VEGFB) is a homodimeric, heparin-binding glycoprotein member of the VEGF family of growth factors. Compared to VEGFA, VEGFB’s main role is the maintenance of newly formed blood vessels and is involved in endothelial cell physiology. It is a ligand for vascular endothelial growth factor receptor 1 (VEGFR1) and neuropilin-1 (NRP1). VEGFB (amino acids 22-207) is fused to a His tag that adds 21 amino acids to the N-terminus. |

How do I choose the right growth factor for my experiment?
|
What is the shelf life and storage condition of this product?
The lyophilized protein is stable for at least one year from date of receipt at -70°C. Upon reconstitution, this cytokine can be stored in working aliquots at 2° - 8°C for one month, or at -20°C for six months, with a carrier protein without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
